Hello! I know we haven’t blogged in a while so I thought we could highlight some brand new opportunities we’re working on in central Birmingham.
We’re working with a specialist construction recruitment business to find some additions to their teams. Don’t let the video above fool you (although, how awesome is it?!) we’ve spoken at length to this client about their position in the market, who they work with, and what their plans are for growth. We know how the best people in their business have gotten themselves to where they are and (if / how) they’ve gotten others there.
So it turns out our client are actually really great at helping recruiters break their billing plateau. If you can’t get into £200k or £300k – they’ve got people who have helped others do just that. They hold onto their staff and are cautiously growing. Cautiously because they don’t want to lose their identity – which is entirely based on quality. They’ve specialised in construction for nearly a decade with most of their work coming from repeat business. This is a business where consultants spend a lot of their time out of the office meeting clients and candidates – building relationships properly.
They operate along sector lines – Resi, Build, Civils, PQS etc and are looking to expand their teams to meet demand. They offer great basic salaries and a commission structure that rewards progress with consultants taking home up to 35% of their billings. In addition they do all the usual stuff as far as pensions, and incentives go. This client also hold an annual company conference to reward their staff – in 2018 this will be in Las Vagas.
For obvious reasons the real gem with this construction recruiter is how they get the job done and how this can help you increase your billings.
